New problems added to E.3, Next up: D; Don’t forget the forum!

I’ve finished adding some new problems for the lessons in E.3.  The topics here were a later addition to the Exam S syllabus that are persisting over to the MAS-I syllabus too.   Even though they have been on the syllabus for S (and now MAS-I) for more than a year, only one question has ever been asked from this material.

So far, we can’t tell if that means that this material won’t be tested often, or if the exam writers just haven’t gotten around to it.   My guess is that we will soon start to see one question from E.3 appearing on most exams.

Next up, I’m going to dive into making new problems for the unit D lessons that are new to MAS-I and don’t have very many problems yet.

Please don’t use the number of problems that appear in the lessons on the material that is new to MAS-I (So, mostly D.4-D.6) as a way to decide which of those lessons are more important.   The main thing that the number of problems indicates is how long the topic has been on the syllabus and how many older exam questions have been asked about it.   For the new topics, we won’t really know how the exam writers are focusing their attention for quite some time.

By the way, I’m currently answering forum questions nearly every morning first thing, and also at other times during the day.  As a result, most questions are being answered in less than 24 hours, and some even within one or two hours.  Please stop in and ask me your questions – especially as you make that leap from the Unit B and C material to the more advanced material in Unit D.   There is some heavier stuff in those Unit D lessons, so don’t hesitate to come and get help!
