D.2 Lesson update rollout has begun

I just posted the new intro lesson to D.2, and also the placeholders for the rest of the newly updated D.2 lessons.

I’ve been delayed getting these lessons completed this month, but I am now ready to record, and hope to launch a new lesson every day or so for the next week or two.  As soon as these lessons are all launched, it will be on to the updates for D.3.  I’m still going to try to complete these in February as well, but I’m not going to rush to meet that deadline at the expense of the quality of the new lessons that I’m aiming for, so it is possible that the rollout for D.3 will not be completed until early March.

If you are already watching or have already watched the existing D.2 lessons, which I’ve just marked as “old”, don’t panic!  The new lessons cover the same syllabus content as before, so if you are comfortable with what you have already done, you likely don’t need to watch the new D.2 lessons.  If there were bits you found confusing, you can always come back to the Updated D.2 lessons a bit later and target reviewing those specific bits.

As with all newly created content, I am quite certain that I haven’t gotten every detail exactly correct, so please let me know when you find any typos or errors in these new lessons.

New D.1 lessons complete

I’ve just finished moving over the practice problems from the old to the new D.1 lessons, so these updated lessons are now complete.  There are a couple of new lessons that don’t yet have problems associated with them.  I do plan to add some problems for those, but there is no time frame for that at the moment.

The existing D.1 summary sheet is still valid, but it will be updated to reflect the new lessons.   Until the flashcards are finished and or moved, I’ll be leaving the old D.1 lessons available for reference.  At the moment I’m not sure when either of these will take place.

The next step is to update the D.2 lessons.  At this time I am keeping my goal of January for rolling these out, although it may be more likely that these will roll out in February.
