I’ve made a couple of recent corrections to the detailed study manual. Just wanted to remind you to check the detailed study manual revision history file every so often for details.

Students taking the LFV-C exam (Canadian version only):

I’m very happy to announce that we have a new instructor, Peter Chong, that will be helping me with the Canadian-specific material on the LFV-C exam going forward. For the fall 2014 sitting, Peter will be available by email and also in the forums to answer any questions you have on the material that is covered on the Canadian-specific tab of the online seminar.

Peter is also in the process of building new lessons for the readings we don’t currently cover on the LFV-C syllabus, although we don’t expect these to be fully available until the spring 2015 sitting.

Please note that if you are taking the US exam (LFV-U), this does not apply to you.

Just a reminder that fall 2014 exam registration is now open on the SOA’s site. The registration deadline is September 24, 2014, which is still a ways off, but don’t get so caught up in studying that you forget!
