Today I posted a PDF at the top of Section A.1 that maps each chapter of the old 4th edition of the Lombardi book (Valuation of Life Insurance Liabilities) to the new 5th edition called Statutory Valuation of Individual Life and Annuity Contracts (SVILAC) that is now on the syllabus. This is mainly for anyone who was studying the 4th edition before the new 2019 syllabus was posted and wants to understand the key changes by chapter.
I strongly recommend switching to the 5th edition since it’s on syllabus now, and it also contains significant changes in some chapters and also entirely new chapters. All of the lessons in the online seminar are based on the 5th edition. We’ve added a lot of new examples for the new material, and it’s well worth your time to go through all of the 5th edition lessons.
