Today we posted the full detailed study manual for Section C. All video lessons in Section C should be visible within the next 24 hours as well. Section C covers a mix of readings related to tax accounting, standard nonforfeiture law, an other regulatory topics. Some of the tax material is fairly challenging, but these lessons are rich in illustrations and examples, and we have been covering a lot of these topics for many years.
We’ve also taken extra time to point out some important concepts in older tax law readings on the syllabus that have became obsolete under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), which is covered in newer readings. As with Stat and GAAP accounting, tax accounting too has been in a state of transition. Even though some things that remain on syllabus are obsolete, they are still technically testable.
