SE#2 question 24 is defective. The correct answer is 175 and was not an answer choice. That is ok as there is a real chance you have a defective question on your exam. Just last sitting 3L had 1 defective question and 2 questions in which they accepted 2 answer choices.
I’m going to leave it as defective for the rest of this sitting.
There was a minor error in problem #30 of Sample Exam #1. In the last bullet point “the probability that expected losses …” should read “the probability that losses …”. I’ve made the correction and uploaded the new file.
Has anyone worked the new sample exams? What did you think? I can’t imagine they don’t contain any errors. I always make mistakes when I create problems. I haven’t heard from anyone yet.
We are headed down the home stretch. Please don’t hesitate to email me any questions you have. I’m always here to help.
Dave and I have finished a second sample exam for 3L and MLC. The exam is available now. Video solutions will be posted soon.
The first sample exam is now ready. The first 10 questions are from TIA Sample Quiz #1, the second 10 problems are from TIA Sample Quiz #2 and the last 10 are new questions. So if you already took Sample Quiz #1 and #2 then you should just work the last 10 problems in 1 hour.
I will be posting 3L Sample Exam #1 later today.
As promised I have posted the 4 lessons for Markov Chains and Poisson Processes to the “SOA Exam MLC Live Seminar” course. Just login, click on “My Stuff” and then click on “SOA Exam MLC Live Seminar”.
