This problem was defective. I have fixed the problem by adding the word “directly”.
You can read more about why the problem was defective here:
The SOA has just confirmed that you can bend the corners of paper during the read through. You might want to do that to mark problems you want to tackle first. I recommend picking out at least 2-3 problems you want to start with.
We’ve had a few questions about forward rates recently, so we imported the forward rates lesson from FM into MLC. It’s the new section J.1.3_b.
I’m working on the last sample exam. I hope to make it available Friday.
I have posted TIA Sample Exam 3. Video solutions will be posted in 2-3 days.
I have posted the hand written solutions to Sample Exam 2. I’m in the process of posting the video solutions. All of them should be posted by the end of the day.
I added one bit of information to the given info for #20. If you watch the video solution (coming soon) you will see why.
I added a new video under Z. Student Questions -> Z. Other Stuff -> “Euler’s Method (SOA 306 and 307)”.
I highly recommend that everyone watch this 16 minute video.
I have posted the second updated sample exam. There are no solutions yet. I will have those up as soon as possible.
